Stance on Data Centers

"I will never allow data centers on farmland. Our farmland is precious and irreplaceable."
- Sam Newhouse

Community Transparency Commitments

Frederick County residents deserve honest answers about how data centers affect their daily lives. Sam is committed to addressing the three major concerns our community has raised.

Power Infrastructure

Data centers consume massive amounts of electricity. Our community deserves a clear, public plan for how these enormous power needs will be met without compromising the reliability and affordability of energy for Frederick County residents and existing businesses.

Potable Water Consumption

Frederick County families need to know the truth about water usage. Data centers in our area are currently consuming up to 1.3 million gallons of potable water daily. Sam will keep the community fully informed about water consumption and fight to protect our drinking water supply for the residents who depend on it.

"AI Data Centers exploit their communities far more than they give back."
- Sam Newhouse

Pollution and Noise Impacts

Diesel backup generators at data center facilities produce harmful emissions, and the constant mechanical noise degrades quality of life for nearby residents. Sam will ensure transparent communication about these impacts and advocate for the communities most affected.
